Spotify has democratizes pitching to Spotify playlist editors by building a submission form into Spotify for Artists.

Since July 2018, Spotify allows artists, managers, record labels, and music team members to individually pitch unreleased songs for playlist consideration via Spotify for Artists.

Pitching your song through Spotify for Artists seven days prior to the release date, even if your song is not added to a Spotify Curated Playlist, at the minimum, ensures that all of your Spotify followers receive your song in their Release Radar playlist. What does that mean? If you have 50 followers, each of those followers will now have direct access to your song in their release radar playlist. Spotify will also send out an individual email to those 50 followers that will display your song and have a direct link to your track on Spotify. Asking your fans to follow your Spotify artist profile is where you can start to build a following within Spotify and if you have an artist website, embed your Spotify Artist Profile. Utilizing your social media channels (instagram, twitter, tiktok, etc.) as well, can be a great driving force to grow your Spotify followers and organic streaming growth as this helps to make a strong case for your track to be included in Spotify curated playlists.
